Boston Public Library

Our featured library today is the Boston Central Library, part of the Boston Public Library system in Boston, Massachusetts.

The Boston Central Library is located in Copley Square in Boston’s Back Bay. It  consists of the McKim Building and the Johnson Building with the two buildings attached and interconnected via interior passageways. The central library as a whole contains 930,000 square feet (86,000 m2) of space and houses 21,000,000 items in its collections as of 2015.[24]

We featured a walk-through of the Johnson Building last year and in today’s post we’ll take a look at the beautiful McKim Building.
