Street art has been popping up everywhere around Rome over the past years. I had fun taking pictures of literary-themed street art on a recent trip. These were found painted on the security gates of La Mia Libreria – a bookshop in a neighborhood outside of the historic center.
Located in the neighborhood Prenestino-Labicano, near the Pigneto, La Mia Libreria is a short bus ride (line 409) from Tiburtina Station (which is a stop on the B metro line.). In addition, the ’81, which crosses the city from Piazza Risorgimento (in the vicinity of Vatican City), stops only 50 meters from the store. You can also reach them by tram (the #5, #14 or #19) get off at Largo Preneste. Head in the direction of Casilina and you will pass the store in about 150 meters.
